Any possibility of adapting an electric water pump so that it works properly in a street car?? Any way of retaining thermostat? Any way of making pump increase gph per rpm.

the meziere pump's instructions state to drill two small holes in the stock thermostat...my buddies got one in his car and it runs too cold...and he followed the instructions...
he's thinking of putting it on a switch but that will be pain in the ***...maybe something to the stock sender??

what speedpro do you have. seq. or b2b? if its bank to bank you could set it up using the fan control. when the engine reaches a certain temp a relay can turn on the pump and fan.
You have to be careful with running the engine with the pump off. The water won't circulate and you will create hot spots around the exhaust valves, which isn't good. That's what the guy at Mezierre told me when we were running kenny's car with the pump off to get it to warm up quicker. I don't know...we never had a problem?

That 's the one I have , and yes I have that option but I guess I will hook it to a switch and turn it on with all the other stuff , all at once .

I have the Golden Eagle unit now, I built a bracket for it today. After I install it tomorrow I will take pics. Just to keep the thread up and give a few other install points.

I think something like this would work well.
