You would need the traction bar for a 99-00 Si.

Who makes a Traction Bar System for the EM1 or CTR or ITR? They sell it but it is no different then a regular EK Traction Bar System. They also say you have to swap LCA's.

You need to swap to any regular EK model LCA or Integra NoN Type R.

Pretty sure Full Race made one to directly bolt up.

Full race has one that will fit your one piece LCAs. I didnt know about the differances when i ordered my traction bar so i just modified it to fit.

FullRace makes an EM1 specific setup. Only one that I know of.

I don't believe that is true. Look at the pictures of the unit. In the pictures is a normal 1 bolt bracket. Which our ESP units use as well. This is for Normal EK and DC.

Customer had called them few years back and it was explained swapping LCAs was a must for the 1 hole prevision for the bracket. EM1 and all Type R's

I had this dilemma a few years ago, I ended up swapping control arms to the 2 piece, best option you have.

The Full-Race EM1 kit shows it mounting at the shock fork if you read through their "Strength of Design" paperwork. Like I said, they sell an EM1 specific kit.

EDIT: They also say in there that the mounting point on the LCA is a rigid point, whereas mounting at the shock fork would have inherent slop due to the bushing there. They recommend Si users swap LCA's, but it is not necessary.

the mounting at the shock forks will cause turning issues, I've experienced this problem, hence the reason I did what I did in my previous post. unless you never had to turn your car around and drive it in a straight line then mount it at the shock mount, but if you drive your car don't do it, as most of us already knew, full-race products are self explanatory... FULL RACE. not half race. lol. just change the parts out.

I completely agree here. Sorry, I was not arguing the functionality, just the fact that they do list them as EM1 compliant. I personally swapped in an EG crossmember, arms and manual steering rack because finding an EK manual rack was near impossible. And the two piece arms are far more abundant should you even bend one from an accident.

Yes correct they recommended using the shock fork bolt I had forgot about that detail. However will cause turning issues. I remember now response in words of *Don't Turn the wheel all the way* and you'll be fine.

BINGO

--------------

2 Options I see are to swap LCA's or See if possible to drill and use long bolt and nylok nut for the bracket. Alot of drilling if not too thick of stamped piece.

------------

There is no specific EM1 kit as I had stated... Same parts... They just say move bracket to shock fork bolt which we all know is a bad idea and wheel will hit. Too far inward.

I build Traction Bar Systems!

This is what I would do. I wonder if there are any EK traction bar cars at legal weight, not running sissy bars, that have run a 1.4x 60' time? Not saying that there aren't any but just wondering.

I am going to be coming for some of your stuff eventually. Not in the budget for this year though. Hopefully over the winter. First set on a sedan?

I'm faced with the same challenge as well. I have an EK hatch, with Si front lower arms and the Full-Race traction bar setup. The wheels hit when close to full lock in either direction.

Time to swap the LCA's, sway bar, and other misc. hardware.

Just weld on mounting tabs on the control arm is the same spot where the 2 piece tab would normally bolt to.

Ahh good idea, especially after pricing all of the stock components to swap back to a non-Si setup. PM sent

If anyone has a pic of this please post it up! I need to call and order the shorter rods from Full-Race first (as I understand the sizes are different due to the different mounting locations.)
