DTR-FAB is now....
DTR-Fab is now ..... For many of you who do not know, I have recently moved from the Bay Area to Stockton, CA for reasons in which will help diversify the company and expand my product line. In order for me to take this new business, I have partnered with my long-time crew chief Derek Parris which some of you might know from working with many of the racing teams in Northern California. From selling parts, distributing metal, restoring old cars to building complete race engines, our new facility will allow us to take on more then just building headers and doing chassis work. Although production was stopped momentarily, due to moving constraints, our new facility is up and running and production has already began. The only problem ... is that we are stuck on the new name!!! Listed below are the two names and meanings in which we have interpreted them for our purpose in this industry:
Paradigm Race Engineering- Paradigm is used today to mean a standard, a model or an example. We are striving to make our products and workmanship a standard for the industry in the future.
Six-Sigma Race Engineering- Six-Sigma was originally was a data-driven approach and methodology for eliminating defects. Like many words in the English language terms evolve and today the term Six-Sigma has come to also mean a measure of quality that strives for perfection. This name fits us perfect because we strive for the highest standards and perfection in our products and craftsmanship.
Please let us know what you guys think so that it will help us to decide on a name. We are looking to complete the paperwork tomorrow so I thought I would let all the H-T members in on the decision. Thanks for all the support.
