drag radials to small?
basically got a set of bfgs for a hundred bucks, 205/50r14 yea 14
mounted on steeles, ive went to the track twice with them and seem to run slower times, runing gsr trans. was wondering if they are to small, let me kno what u guys think, considering just reselling them. set up is 2000 si with gsr and jrsc

what tires were you running before and what were your 60's and trap like. what are your 60's and traps like with the the bfg's. if you were running regular street tires i would think you should definately do better with the drag radials. i have the same tires and they hook up pretty good for what they are.
i normally run 205/45r16 bfg g force radial,on work wheels. i am pretty sure the work wheels are actually lighter then the 14 in steels with the drs. ill have to look for my time slips but my trap speeds are higher with the 16s but 60 ft is a little slower.overall the drs are netting me slower times.
thats what i was thinking, i dont really race much but i noticed a diff between using them and not. personally i like my everyday set up of the 16in, i think its cause i kinda have the power to move the bigger wheels

well last year i was running lsvtec with b16 trans and went 14.0 on my street tires and went consistent 14.2 on the drs. i think it just made final gearing to high. i only went 1 time this year with the full gsr swap and charger and went 14.5 on the drs, i thought the longer gsr trans would help but it didnt, i no this setup is alot faster then the last and ive beat cars in the 13s but everytime i go to the track with those tires im just really disapointed.
