ive tried all differnt kinds of spark plugs. more often than not the stock distributors suck with AEM.

Stock distributors cause problems with most ecu's...

I have run them without issues but i had to modify the teeth inside.

If using the AEM i would just use the T1 trigger and get it over with.
Why gamble when you know the T1 trigger works flawlessly every time..

Re: (BlownHatch)
at what point does the stock dist. give you guys problems? high HP? high RPM? what?

Im just wondering because I havent had any problems with the stock dist & my 1030U.
(knock on wood)
But Im not making quite as much power as most of you guys...

just looking for more info as to what the actual problem is i guess...

my oem dist was giving alot of error codes @ idle even, it would shut the car off because of it... i dont even want to know what it would have done had i tried to push the envelope with a dist giving off "errors" to the ecu... probably all kinds of misfiring/BS

Re: (ykracing)
if you havnt had any problems you just have one of the like 20 distributors ever made that just "work". they are 100% hit or miss from what i have seen. ive only seen one so far that worked well for a while and then eventually took a crap.

Re: (fast is fun)
i am having misfires down low to i didn't have them on the dyno put the car on the trailor came home took it off and having issues up to about 5500rpm then car takes off like a rocket till like 9000rpm then it just kinda hits a brick wall so im hoping that my dizzy and no trigger kit are causing the lower rpm problems as well because it did not do this on the dyno and instantly when i took the car off the trailor it did but the last dyno pull it started to get shaddy way up top so im hoping this is the cause

Re: (BlownHatch)
Just wanted to add that I saw a 3d model of Tony's new trigger bracket that he will be making soon, and it is even nicer than the last one!

Now if I could only afford a "great" EMS to use it with, I'd order one..

Re: (SpeedDreamz.com)
Its actually v.3 because I have v.1 and I am the only one that has v.1. I still remember when tony first made he said, you now have the best looking crank trigger around. lol

what ems do you have?? if you have aem, log t2per (or t4per if you have a 1010) and cam-crank, if you see those 2 break up when the car breaks up then the dizzy is the problem
