1 week to go! I just got my cage certified so I am ready to run!!!!

 

still hoping to make it. working on finishing cage now. then have to fit the interior back in, order and fab an exhaust and finish putting engine back in. i'm trying to run in FIS. if i run out of time putting interior in, i'll just run FIP. can't wait!

 

Im not making it to race but I will be there with the Pittsburgh performance crew

 

I got all my interior back in the car today. It actually went a little smoother then I expected

 

Ill be there in spectating trim. We will be heading over saturday afternoon, hopefully there are some people getting together somewhere.

Car still won't idle correctly. Stuck at 3000rpm. Ran fine for 3 weeks then this crap.
Plus still waiting on my custom CAI and a tune.
I will make the fall race!

Have you made sure there isn't a vaccum leak?

 

Trying to check everything. IACV replace gasket. TB retightened nuts and bolts. IM retightened nuts. Just remembered I have a hose that I had to spice together that goes to the VALVE, PURGE CONTROL SOLENOID. I'm going to replace that with a continuous piece. If that doesn’t work I’ll remove the TB and clean, might be clogged.
If I somehow get this idle issue fixed in the next day or so I still will need a street tune to at least race.
VTEC is wrong for the intake runner length, IAB is set wrong, air/fuel is lean. My tuner lives close just need to take is one step at a time.
