Coilovers
I just sold my koni adjustables and eibachs. I'm trying to decide which coilover setup to go with. I'm looking at the teins or jic's. My car is driven everyday and sees the drag strip at least 3 times a month. I also plan to attent 2 or 3 track events this year. What setup would you guys suggest for my 93 civic si?
I'm building a street car right now and i'm using the tein type flex with the edfc. The edfc is the electronic control box for the stiffness of the struts. It'll be pretty cool, just drivin around with a nice smooth suspension. When you want to race, just push a button and stiffen the rear all the way and stiffen the front a little. They also have an adjustment to limit shock travel and stop the car from trying to lift the front up so much. That's not electronic though.
nothing near as fancy as tony1 but i just use gc coilovers with a custom spring rate and kyb adjustable shocks. They were good for a low 11 sec pass and will be fine when i start dipping mid to low 10's next season. The ride can be alittle bumpy, but you get used to it. I think i like tony1's idea, but i don't have the cash for that.
