Default coil on plug problem PLEASE HELP

I have a 96 civic with an AEM EMS, M&W ignition box, honda motorcycle coils, and Tony1 hall effect sensor. The car starts, idles and revs up as it did before but the Aem shows that car is running half of the RPMs that the tach is showing. Could someone please give me some help because I really want to run my hometown NOPI race in St. louis this weekend. thanks for any help.

Check the number of crank trigger teeth in the software, you have to remember that since it's on the cam, it only turns at half engine speed. If it's asking for crank pulses per REVOLUTION, then it's 6, if it's asking for crank pulses per CYCLE, then it's 12. I think you have 6 in there when it wants 12? If you had the wires backwards, it shoudn't run and should be off way more than half engine speed.

yeah, that too... i was ASSUMING you had it setup in the software properly.

the honda base calibrations are setup for 24 teeth, not 12. you will need to go through every option that deals with "teeth" and cut it in 1/2...

dragsol - I just talked to Mark at Tydo. I gave him the info you need.

The wiring should be fine as well as the tooth options.

I would like to thank everyone for all of the help that I have gotten on trying to get my car going. Devin, Mark is suppose to get ahold of you to figure out why the car wont rev past 5500 RPM. I really appreciate all of the time that you have spent with us.
