Look to spend about $5000.00 for a bare one and up to $12,000 depending on equipoment. Be carefull iwth used trailers, make sure that they were maintained properly, there is no wayto tell the mileage on them other then looking at the trailer and figuring something out on your opwn.

if you look hard enuff you can get them for a decent price used.
I would try and get a wider one, i know its a pain getting the car out when you cant get in it because the door is right on the wheel well.

I've been looking for a used one for several weeks...no luck yet...I did notice that they hold there value so unless someone is hurting for cash expect to pay just a little less...

Go to Orlandi Trailer in San Jose or SouthBay (I think) Trailer in Hollister. I'm thinking of selling my trailer for $2,000.00 or OBO. But, not an enclosed trailer and still in good condition. Brand new enclosed about 5-7500.

What about an open trailor? I stopped by that place off of 101 near the Red Barn, and the cheapest one I saw was $1750.

I need a trailor, quick!

yeah just not looking for an open trailer, i can find open ones used. this is not for the street car, and i need a place to keep it, i figure i can just lock it up in there, and store it somewhere. if your looking for a used open, that guy that just posted from svp has one.

u should buy 26-28 foot. extra space is good for golf cart, spare engine, tool boxes, slicks, etc.

When buying a trailer, I have been told the rule of thumb is 1000/ft.... One of the best things you can invest in, is a large generator, and at least one if not tow AC units.. When looking for a Generator, try for a diesel one that is built into the trailer..

So $20,000 for a 20ft? Isnt that a bit too much. I know you mean there are extra accessories, such as generator and storage. But thats a lot for only so little.

kinda o/t but i might pick up a 03 dodge dakota v8 quad cab, do you guys think it would be enough to pull a 20ft enclosed trailer/2000lbs racecar? i searched and found the max recommended trailer weight is 5000lbs i think a 2oft enclosed is about 3000-3500lbs so with the racecar its about 5to 5500lbs, so its pretty mutch limit, but i think it would be ok?

no you'll need the ram 1500 minimum. the 3/4 ton w/ cummins would be even better.

I had a 24ft enclosed trailor it worked great.I paid $6,500 for it new .The walls were all white and the floor was checker board.I also had a wench installed inside the front part of the trailor. The wench is one thing i highly recommend I could load the car by myself if needed.Good luck.
