Elevation is about 1900 FASL I am pretty sure. Central WI.

I have a friend that has a dyno in his shop. I get to do all kinds of tunning and flow bench testing.

ECU is stock with just a higher rev limit and little higher Vtec.

With a 2.1 60' you still ran a 12.8 @107??? Your car must be pulling like a freight train from 60'-1320'!

What kind of power are you putting to the wheels?

Thanks much everyone!

Motor peaks at 7100 and carries a very nice strait line to 8200 where I shift. If I am losing the race ill go up to 8500-8600

The peak Hp is 212 @ 7150 at the wheels. I don't remember the TQ off hand.

If I get my 65 Stang done this summer (I hope) I will start building a bigger badder and meaner b18 for the CRX over the winter. 250 at the wheels would be nice!

id like to see the dyno chart, 212 with oem internals on a b16 seems about 30hp too high
although i do believe that he could run the times that he did....it just wounldnt take that much hp...more like 180 which is what his setup should make

Yes, I would have to say that a b16a will not make anywhere near that. We made almost 200 at the wheels with a heavily built and tuned b16a on OEM honda parts. It had CTR pistons, Toda C's, Toda header, Buddy Club Spec III exhaust, Power FC, RC 440's (almost peaking out), milled head, decked block, 1 layer headgasket, you see where Im heading with this. Id like to believe it but I just can't.

Telling you its all about the head work. It takes more power to run lower times in the high Alt.

Well the timeslip says it all.
But the HP you're putting out, that's some amazing headwork you have done.
Esspecially considering the stock ECU, so the ECU is not even aware of the different internals you have mounted.

A good friend of mine has done his B16A1 with, JE pistons, lightend cramshaft, ITR cam's and valvetrain, ported and polished intake, 4-1 mugen header with freeflow excaust 2 1/2" all the way to the back. Mugen chipped ECU, still needs to be tuned on the dyno, but no way he's putting out anywhere near to 200whp. Maybe on the wheels he has 180hp, but that's it.

But still, very nice 1/4 mile, absolutely!!!

I would like to do hondata yet, but with two mustang projects going on at the same time and working on the CRX money seems to be tight.

Maybe If some money falls in my lap I will get it done yet this year.

Have to get my 60 foot down to. Next RSD is july 2nd, maybe I will get a mid to low 12 sec. slip.

And you're weight is very low.
Since here in the Netherlands we never work with lbs, I wasn't sure about the weight of you're car, did a calculation and seeing that we're talking 807.39 kg or 1614.8 pounds.
That's rare were I race, most of us are all around 2200 lbs.

What was the altitude of the track you raced??

Maybe its just the low gearing in the tranny that makes the HP numbers look high? I am in 5th gear at about 7800 RPM at the big end of the track.

This will be the last year for this motor. I have a new b20 sitting on the stand waiting for its new pistons, rods, ect. ,ect. I will be running my b16 head on the b20 though.

Anyone know where to get B16A metal stamps? Would be nice to fool some people on the street.
