Anyone try raxles?
Right now I can't afford DSS axles and I keep breaking my autozone lifetime warranty axles. A friend of mine told me raxles hold a decent amount of power and they're not that expensive. Does anyone have expierience with them?
Thanks

hrmmmm that name rings a bell, and for some reason it doesn't seem like there were many people with good things to say about them. Try searching the archives back about 4-5 yrs ago

tried raxles once. the guy told me i was an idiot on the phone when i told him his axles were causing a vibration, and my dss's in the same car werent. so ill never deal with them again.
had the "green ones" c/s was ok, but was expected to pay for an axle that broke again when the wrong inner was installed. sold them with the 5 lug, went dss 5.9 best move i made.

I talked to Marty from raxles and he said he doesn't sell performance axles only oem replacements. He said they are stronger then the autozone Chinese ones but not strong enough for what I need. And he doesn't sell them with a bigger hub.
i have a question when it comes to the autozone chineese ones, does raxles have a lifetime warranty? hahaa. i know guys that will buy 50 sets of zone axles before they throw down on expensive axles.
personally i would go with the zone before raxles strictly on the way i was treated when i called them.

I'd rock the stock ones before I bought something other then a DSS.
I bought my DSS (stage 5's now 3.9's) used a few years ago and they are still holding up great.

I currently run stock axles for the simple fact that I would rather break an axle, then break something else in the transmission... I figure if the car hooks really hard, or gets any type of wheel hop, or anything else that would cause something to break, I would rather it be a $50 part than a $500+ part, not to mention the down time... I can bring spare axles to the track to drive the car home, but I don't carry spare transmissions...

You and I both know that's a tough combination to come by, good enough OEM parts, proper setup and a proper driver.
Most guys who break stock ones will still break aftermarket stuff in due time, it will just take longer lol
But I do agree, before buying anything BUT DSS keep rocking the stockies

Not everyone can pull that off. some people cant drive correctly or take shortcuts. If you have made it on stock axles more power to you but i was commenting on icc post
dss axles ftw. but i have also used insane shafts axles. on my street track car and they held up make 600whp on a 24x9 slick and 25x8 slick without a problem and if u on a budget. i like them but none the less dss ftw. if u trying to make big power and run with the big boys.
