Hey, long story short last year I was looking for the exospeed front end for a ek but a closed version. I contacted Will at exospeed last year June and he said he'll have one no later then Aug, 2011. We'll it's jan 2012 and still no front so I'm leaning towards the Strada (jcr) front. Ive heard a few people in the past said the fitment was crappy and it wasn't designed for 10'' tires, I've been told those issues were resolved and the fronts look just like the old jojo fronts. So I'm looking for pics of eks with that front mounted open/closed version and diffrent angle not just from the front, and what tire size are you running. I know there's a few threads about 3 piece fronts already but supposedly the changes to the strada kit was made in late Nov 2011. thanks

 

i think all the dp cars are all strada front ends. lots of pics on there fb page

 

We use exospeed front ends in our cars and the original Jojo on Allans EK. We had strada front ends for in the past for customers cars. It's personal preference on which front end people like.

 

how long u wait for your front ends ? (DP )

 

Both is about three to four weeks. We usually buy a couple at a time. However the carbon fiber front end is made to order so it takes a while to get.

Hey DP are you still a vendor for strada? did you hear/see the revision made on the front? with out being bias since you sell/sold both which had better fitment/quality. does the regular strada kit fit 26x10x15 or do you kneed the wide version.

Yes that's what I wanted is that made for 10'' tires? Will told me he was going to redesign the fenders to go with the wide kit got pics of that.

 

Obviously this is an open front end but it will give you an idea of the width of the fenders. This is on an M&H 26x10x15 mounted on Exopseed Star8 15x10 5" backspace wheels.

I highly recommend Strada, they normally have a few of each style in stock and ready to ship. He is easy to deal with and has excellent prices. He also offers them in different options as well, one version is wider and lower, like whats on Chris Millers car this season.

 

I've got a Strada! Haven't got it on yet, except it's an EG Open, but they do have closed, full carbon, and a carbon lip option(which is what I got).


They've had excellent customer service, and definitely who I will be going through for any fiberglass/carbon needs!

ya Exospeed has had the closed front for a couple months.

 

lol yea I've been talking with Will over at exospeed for months about making that front, then the last few months couldn't get a hold of him so I didn't even know he made it.

 

Wil's got the wide EK closed and open. We have another one coming...

 

How do you get hold of exospeed I have called and emailed.

 

Strada's easy to get ahold of. I've never once had an issue calling them.
