you can make it yourself if you have basic soldering skills the chip and stuff can be located for a few dollars at electonic component supply stores, the connectors from GM or MSD for the DFI 4 pin connector and a pinable DB9 from radio shack, total cost for mine was around 8 bucks. check out No-bling.com for instructions.
i know that you dont want to pay full price for one from accel.

Shayne, try the Bishop Museum lols! Nah seriously, like dturbocivic said, I dont know if the Gen 7 is the same, but if it is Robert has the Gen 7. If not, Allan with the 10 sec SOHC had the Gen 6 before he went AEM. Could try asking those guys.

gen 7 cable will not plug in or work if spliced with GEN 6, I have been running Gen 6 for 5 years with no problems or glitches or anything, you dont have to feel embarrased for using it at all. Teh gen 7 and other systems are jsut easier to use under winsdows and have an overwhelming number of options and trim tables. The Gen 6 should be able to make basically the sam hp numbers as anyone elses system plus batch fire is way easier run safely colling the cyilinders between strokes.
If the used cable is broken in the black box portion it cant be fixed as it is an encapsulated box and filled with glue that cant be removed.

Yeah, we ran in the 9's with it in Kenny's car....in 1999! That system is so outdated it's not even funny!
