i have a 97 hatch wit a b16a2 turbo running 8 psi and i can't get any traction in 1st through 3rd. what can i do? I should add that if i ease of it and then drop in into 2nd that doesn't help either... what is the best way that i can get traction of the line.....

try modulating the throttle.
