2000cc Injectors
Which 2000cc brand do you guys prefer and why? I'm in the market to purchase a set of these inj but now there's many manufacturers to chose from with ID's being the most expensive. I've search but couldn't come up with a solid reason as to why theres a price diff. so if you guys with real life experience can chime in with
fuel pump choice
how many injectors
how many cc ie.. 1000,1600,2000
Injector brand
fuel choice
Idle quality
duty cycle
HP
Thanks

Price difference on the injectors is because of how they test and match each set of injectors. So throughout the range the injector will operate, you are looking at a max of 1-2% difference cylinder to cylinder at all pulsewidths essentially.
Other fuel injector modifiers only test at (1) point and "match sets" some do 2 points, and I think I heard of one other that matches at three points.
ID injectors are matched at 1-10 milliseconds

Trust me, the added cost is worth it...and others will agree.

Yeah I read that before, but what I'm asking is between the EfI wizards, bosh, etc.. has anybody had success or failure with them. In my opinion the ID's would be like a motec system and the most ideal but people have ran 8's with s300. What i'm trying to figure out is if good/reliable hp was made with the other injector then I can spend the price difference elsewhere. I also like the wide variety of fuel that the EFI wizards can use.
I've read lots of good things about both the ID's and the FIC's, but opinions seem to be mixed about the efi wizards. If you google it you'll find some interesting stuff about them.
Just look at the tech and info other manufacturers posts...its all mimicked off the ID stuff, or blatant copying of ID data and marketing.
If you have a 10% difference in fueling per cylinder because of the injector you are using, even a Motec cant "fix" that for you without even more additional costly and sophisticated testing (individual lambda meters, egts...etc)
