I've looked at the XS power D1600 and the Turbostart batteries. They seem to be the most popular and affordable too. Whats everyones experiences with these? Need moar juice!

 

I have used the XP1000 for 4 years now. I'm at the point where it needs to be replaced though. My own fault for not having it on a trickle charger this winter. Good battery for the money.

 

Apparently turbo start is in the process of being sold or having someone else take over manufacturing. So its a little hard to get them unless they are sitting on someones shelf. I run the smaller turbostart and it works pretty well. the charger is a little touchy but gets the job done.

 

What size wire is needed from the positive to my breaker I was going to run 4 ga

 

I use 4awg, but it depends on what you have for loads.
