Default 12's NA

Is there a way to run 12's NA, in an EM1 (99-00 Si) chassis? This is what I have come up with so far for a build up. I plan on building a long rod B16. It will have about a 1.78:1 rod/stroke ratio.

Endyn Killer NA Headwork
Endyn Rollerwave Pistons 12:1
Endyn/Eagle Rods
Jun 3 Camshafts
Eibach Valve Springs
RS Machine 84.5mm Sleeves

As far as breathing I will be using an AEM short ram intake, Endyn Intake Manifold, hytech header and exhaust.

For engine management I plan on using a hondata ecu, and msd 6al ignition.

So what do you guys think about that, 12's on street tires, or no?

Thanx,

Si2NR

you realize how much money will need to put put into that?

that should put you in the 12 second range.

it might be easier to get a itr motor then just add ctr pistons and big cams with supporting valve train.

not sure about the endyn intake manifold. skunk2 IM will work fine for what you are doing.

dont forget you will want a good tranny/clutch/flywheel setup to go along with your motor.

you can probably get 14" wheels with slicks around the si brakes. that should shave off some valuable time as well

I don't think that's true. With the proper setup and driving, its definitely possible.

what are you guys talking about? of course it's possible. Believe it or not- you don't need a stripped crx to be fast NA. wasn't there a GSR Integra running 12.86 NA around here (on the boards). It will cost some money-but just choose wisely and tune. I would start with ITR motor- raise cpr, choose bolt ons, carefully, skunk2 cams or better, cam gears, injectors, hondata etc. etc. good tires,.

I believe you're at a good start. tune and take a the back seats, ps, maybe ac-you don't necessary have to strip the whole car, just stuff that does not take forever to take out and in.
