12's with 100mph traps
how possible is it to get into the 12's with 100mph traps? im sure 60ft will play a big role in this.. alot of people are telling me its not going to happen.. but most of the people that tell me this are magizine racers.. thnx in advance
Up here in Denver I hit a 12.80 something at 99.19 because my IC piping blew off at the end (this on stock GS-R motor in my GS-R w/ slicks, clutch, and drag III kit on stock boost. Doesn't sound crazy impressive, but Bandimere speedway is at 5820ft.
Anyway, sounds like a DSM or other comprible AWD turbo time. Those guys have parasitic drivetrain loss on the back half of the track.

I think you can bro, like they say 1/10 off the 60' is 2/10 off your 1/4mile.Your already cutting 2.0 60's with your BFG's so if you can cut atleast a 1.8 60ft on slicks you should be able to break into high 12's.
Must of let of before the mph traps to have that low of a mph. it takes something like 102mph to go in to the 12's. unless you let out before the end.
In a light car with good traction, you can definately run 12's with a 100mph trap.
I see it this way, if you run 12's with 100mph trap, that means your chassis is set-up well, and your ready for more power, higher mph's and lower ET's.

Try this it works. 1320 diviated by your MPH will give you your ET. To go less MPH with better times, you let out before the end. 100mph is 13.20 with perfect traction unless you did not stay in it the whole way.
