Default 12 sec. help me in getting there

I want a 12 sec. honda.

My current car is a stock 94 civic DX automatic

I already decided to put in a b16A JDM(170HP/113ft-lb torque) and am already switching the auto-to-manual

What else should I get for performance? Suspension? Wheels?

wow, 12 seconds is a lot of money.. a lot of people don't realize it.. but making cars go fast taxes the paycheck! i have spent like 3x the cost of my hatchback on the motor alone. but i'm happy

B16 swap, stock B20 shortblock, Hondata, 24.5 et drag slicks, and a good driver or B16 swap, good tubo kit at 10psi, Hondata, 24.5 et drag slicks, and the same good driver

Thanks for the info. Do you guys know of what like suspension I could do to help it out? Or is stock fine.

Yah i'm planning to spend a lot of money on it, might take a year or two but I will get it done.

Do you guys know of what hp/torque I would be looking at for the minimal?

b16 with a shot of nitro and slicks...that's the cheap route.

Whats your budget? How much do you plan on spending? Sounds like this is going to be a daily driver rite?

Get a B18c1 start there.

Dx Coupe, or Hatch?? 12's aint gonna happen with just nitrous (unless its a pretty large shot) on a b16... specially if its a coupe... your best bet is a turbo kit and some decent boost (10-15psi)...

Reason why I'm saying this, cause my friends is a reletively good driver and he just barely broke got low 14's with a b16 CX and a 55 shot... I dunno, I just don't see it happening without diggin a little in the pockets... just my 2 cents though.

some squeeze and some slicks should do it... I don't see how if i could easily do it ALL MOTOR why he would have a problem doing it with some nitrous

gsr swap w/ 6psi drag gen 3 kit should do it easily, i have a custom turbo setup on my sol w/ a b18c1, 6psi, street tires, ran 13.2 and weighs 2615lbs, w/ a dx coupe or hatch and slicks and my setup you would easily be mid-low 12's

if you really want to go NA, it will cost alot more than just slapping a turbo on. Na a purer but Fi will always be faster.

How about a stock D16 with a greddy kit on 9-10 psi and some drag radials?
Works for me!

I ran a 13.037 @ 100mph with a bone stock b16 and 75 shot. Thats pretty close to a 12sec pass.
