Big Congrats to Norris Prayoonto for him hitting a 10.35@129 All-Motor at the Nopi races this past weekend in San Antonio, Tx. I'm wondering when the All-Motor class will be hitting high 9's and doing it w/some wheelie bars in back too. I think it's a first for the All-Motor class that someone finally ran wheelie bars in back. n.e ways I thought I'd give some props to him.

 

whats minimum weight in the nopi series?

 

FYI The Sharma's(Dan's shop) were first to have wheelie bars on allmotor. They have had them for almost 2 years now. But their car hasn't ran for awhile. Fastest i think was around 11.2xx.

 

Ya, Dan's shop CRX was running the wheelie bars for along time now. they are one of the OG all motor guys. They have been there since the ALL MOTOR class was barely into the 11's.
THe driver is pretty young too.. I think the youngest in the class. I think he was hitting 11's back when he was 16. I believe its his dad's shop and he's the driver.

All it has on the site is race results and he ran a 10.61 & 10.68

 

So I'm assuming Erick's Racing doesn't have the world's quickest all motor Honda anymore? Nice times.

 

Damn... 10.35.. and here I am trying to break into 11s.. LOL.. wicked times.. Wonder when I'll come close...

 

I also want to know what the car weighed.

All these half-*** racing venues allow swiss cheese out on the track. NHRA is the only real deal. I give props to the guys running 10s 1700lbs and over...which Norris can do also.

hmmm one 10.3 pass...... over 3 tenths faster then his fastest runs....weighing 1500 lbs and running alcohol

 

the run was at the battle of the imports at route 66 raceway...........methanol+ wheelie bars........

What are you talking about the car ran a 10.35,10.39, and 2)10.4x at battle abt a month ago. Now he has run 10.6x at Nopi. Its no fluke. BTW dont say anything when you know nothing, The car weighed in at 1685 at Battle and 1745 at Nopi.

Also the car never ran a 10.35 at Nopi, Only 10.6x's all day, the 10.30s were at Battle. Yes alky and wheelie bars, no one can **** with his car.

What difference does it make whether he was running race gas or Methanol? Meth is legal.

Give the guy some props...he deserves it. I just wish he would mainly run NHRA.

 

Either way it goes 10.35 is fast N/A Does anyone know what engine setup he's running??

Norris is running a prelude motor in the race car....if you all think 10.35 is fast...wait and see what team Type R has in store for this country next year. Much props to my boss/friend Norris on an awsome yr.

 

When it happens let us know. People always say this and that, I dont see it actually happening very often.

Sorry, let me rephrase that... He once had the fastest all motor honda/acura regardless of motor.

 

Everyone always says wait til next year. Kinda like Bergenholtz and all the trash talking he made public about his new car. That turned out good..ha ha.
