Buffed a Lexus. Worst I've Ever Seen
This is my boss's daughters car. As you can tell **** was ROUGH. So she called upon my serivices to correct it. I have now realized... I need a rotary. The DA did very well as you can see but a rotary would have done better and been faster. Anywho, onto the pics.
Heres how the day started.

mmm swirls galore

Main reason for me doing thsi was LOTS of tree sap

dirty

and now after a dish soap wash

Sap, sap and more sap

and this is clay bar'd with Meguiars aggressive clay. Trsut me it needed it.

hood

half and half with just one pass of meguairs m105 with a yellow Lake country CCS pad

before

after

and now for the final product. I didnt get many pics. ran out of time. This is m10 followed with m205 and topped with Klasse High Gloss sealant Glaze (**** sucks *** BTW.)

here is evidence of me needed a rotary. I worked the **** out of this trunk and you see the results

and there you have it. Any questions feel free to ask

well i gotta give her credit. she tried to take care of it. She was just using things she read on the internet and it came out with the results you see. I have since gone over what to do and what not to do with her and if she has any doubt to just let me do it

I could easily come to you...I'd assume you have all of your supplies at your house? It would be easier instead of hauling everything up my way.
Also, are you comfortable doing engine bays?

ya i do everything at my house usually. I can do bays yes. Now depends on how bad it is. If you look for a previous thread on a crown vic i did you will see what i did in the bay but if its hogged up with grease and crap than i wont do much.
Nah it's not bad at all...just needs a touch up.
I have a guy coming to look at the car this weekend so depending on if he buys it I'd like to get it detailed before it goes. I'll touch base with you ASAP.

How long does it take you guys to detail a car?
For me it takes about two days, to do it right.
Thats external wash, claying, waxing, wheel and tire cleaning, interior vacuuming and detailing.

i was using the new 7424xp w/ the yellow pads for the 105 and white for the 205. It did ok but it took ALOT of pressure and passes on them and it actually ripped and tore my yellow pads, both of which were new
but o well. I have a purple micro-wool lake country pad also that works well but i didnt use it than. I think with a rotary i could have done it quicker and been able to cut more with a coarser wool pad

i know lol. Id use the PC for finishing work and the rotary for the main cutting process just so i dont screw anything up
