UPDATE Mar 10 2025: The car is officially gone!

I'm selling my 2006 Honda Civic EX Coupe. I'm the second owner and have been driving the car for over 15 years and 300,000km. It's been a fantastic car and was always kept clean and well maintained but it needs some repairs now and the body is starting to rust so I've decided to replace it with another Civic.

I'm selling as-is, message me for more details and additional pictures of the problem areas. It could be kept going for a while longer with a bit of work but it would also make a great parts car for another 8th gen Civic owner. Aside from the repairs it currently needs though, it does run and drive fine and was my daily driver up until last week. It was kept mostly stock with just minor OEM+ upgrades and subtle cosmetic mods.

The Good:
-Has full OEM Honda HFP lip kit (the side skirts are still new-in-box with hardware and instructions)
-The interior is in good shape for the most part and it has an upgraded center console out of an Acura CSX
-Aftermarket clear-corner headlights installed with original OEM amber-corner headlights also available
-Michelin X-Ice Winter tires on OEM wheels with lots of tread remaining
-OEM subwoofer with working OEM Premium Audio System (notoriously failure prone and was replaced a few years ago when the original one quit working)
-5-speed manual transmission still feels and shifts great

The Bad:
-High mileage with nearly 375,000km
-The rust, particularly around the rear wheel arches, passenger door and floor/rockers
-It has the infamous clear coat peeling problem on the roof
-It needs at minimum: brakes, a front coil spring/strut and a new battery
-I love the moonroof but it leaks in really heavy storms or car washes that spray the roof directly. One storm in particular was so bad and with the car parked on a hill, water caused the headliner to sag
-There is a broken fog light (but I do have a new one that is included too)
