Default whats a good sub for a integra?

since the integra is a hatch instead of having a trunk, most subs dont sound good in it. which sub do you think will be able to kick hard with a small box? im only looking for one 10" sub.

IMO i would go with one 10in JL W6 or even better the 10" Polk MoMo. The Polk knocks hard as **** i just did an install on a "98 civic hatch. That Polk was slamming hard. but i have JL so i like them both. OH and i would go with a sealed box. Ported sounds like crap. You could also go with a bandpass but IMO i would stay sealed. I built the box for the Polk.

You said hatch comprde to trunk doesn't sound as good. Here is a quick free tip: when everything is setup listen to it, then wire the sub up 180 degrees out of phase(+ to - and - to +) this will alter the distance of the sound waves peak and can help out a couple Db.

Get a 12". I have an Image Dynamics IDQ10 v2 and I wish I had a 12.

I don't agree that subs don't sound good in Integra's. If you design a box properly and power the sub adequately you will get a very decent sound out of it.

Try rear-loading the sub as this will enhance the output.
