Yes so I go out to my car for work this morning and my facotry Honda CD player just won't read CD's anymore. Out of the blue. None of em. I turned off and on and tried agian. Let it warm up, cool down and tried again after work. Nothing. When I put the CD in it starts to read and just says "E-00". What gives. I haven't pulled the battery terminal yet and reset it. I will try this. Any other suggestions or has anyone else run into this problem?

I hope my case isn't the same as yours, but I had the same message and was told my laser pick-up was finished. The cost of repair was not worth it. Good luck!

 

did u put any burned cds in it? my bother did that to his factory cd player and caused the same problem and the same error message. Look in your honda manual, and see if it tells u what the error 00 means. what year is ur car mabey it is covered under the warranty if it is still within 3 yrs.
