Default viper 650xv

I recently had a viper 650xv installed about 2 months ago. The problem is that the chirp while unlocking or locking the car does not sound as loud as it used to. Sometimes I will be able to hear it very well, but other times, it sounds almost silent. Any clue as to the reason why this happens?
Thanks

i'd check the mounting location. There's a chance water is getting into the horn part and making the sound muted. We had this happened to a customer before who off-roaded his truck. Simply changed the way it was mounted and it took care of the issue.
