Default Viper 210 GPS

I was looking at this unit and wanted to know if anyone has any experience using this? Is it better than lojack? Is it worth the money? Any insight would be appreciated, thanks.

One of the best tracking units out there. The key to it is the install. I have no problem with the units when I install them.

Definitely a well made and dependable, if installed properly, unit.94

If I purchase this unit and install it myself, what requirements is needed to get the unit working? Given that, I will need to contact VIPER, and actually activate the subscription?

If any part of the gps unit is gotten to. Kiss the car and finding it good by. This is the number one reason that I allways pull the entire dash out of any car that I am installing it in. Reason one is that 99% of the hondas stolen or most cars the dash is not removed, Reason 2 is that it takes to long to remove the dash, Reason three is by the time you even thing about taking out the dash your allready busted. Over all reason is that the theif should not even get that far to remove the car from its location since the unit will alert you in 15 sec that the alarm is going off And will give you location and speed of were the car is going and if the alarm was installed right the thief would not be driving the car away from the start and since he can not shut off the alarm from blaring since it has a back up battery. So there would need to be a tow tuck. And were ever it goes. You know. You need a password to enter to activate the unit on the gps network. And as far as buying them off ebay. Goodluck when you try to activate it. It will not work. This is a dealer only item. I have 4 sitting right here that are paper weight. Its mouse game buying it off the net.

Drop the attitude. His question is related to your topic and he has every right to post it here.

there is no attitude, his question does not pertain to mine. I asked how this unit was compared to others, not how do you make it work. Thanks

I asked about the install as well ****TARD. Why don't you just relax back and gain some useful information while you at it? Obviously you wan't to know the install process as well, same as I. Why clutter more threads of the same?

Go to hell *******.
...

wrx-killer-Sti-eater - Thanks bud, always useful information as usual.

If you came out to be a little nicer, I think I can suggest you something. Being that this weekend I got my unit working.

Go F yourself. Lock thread anyone?
