Default System problems

I just installed a 4 channel amp in my R last weekend, and it worked fine for a while. Now it gets real staticy when i turn it on, like i can kinda hear the music but it sounds like ****. I have two channels running my front two speakers, and the rear two bridged to a sub. any suggestions?

1. Check the amp ground.
2. Check the RCA's.
3. Check for any shorts along the speaker wires.

If problem continues bench test the amp and deck.
