Amp max @ 880w (bridge together to power a single sub)
12" sub max 800w

You'll even have a few $$ left over to buy a nice dinner.

Check out http://www.caraudioforum.com lots of cool ppl there.

I'd reccommend. IDQ subs two 12's. http://www.imagedynamics.com very good subs. Better then sony, poineer, all the main brands.

As far as amps. Fostage = okay, Cadence/MMATs/PPI = VERY NICE, PG= nice, JBL= really nice for the price. I'd go with JBL for amp.

If you can find them, the Infinity Class D amp goes great with the Perfect's.. and they should go for less than $200 too.

Kicker is the biggest bang for the dollar...its pretty punchy and ear drilling....but for Sound quality....The orion HCCa's are pretty good along with Alpine..I love Alpine...it sounds good with any kind of music...give them a try..

go to http://www.soundhabit.com sweet prices because some of the products are not authorized to be sold through the site. I think it's worth it...I never use warranties anyways. For an amp, the HiFonics Zeus is a badass amp for a small price. Built very well and can double its power when splitting the ohm load. Not many amps in its price range can do this. It also has solid components.

Hey Anthony, have you ordered through soundhabit? I hear they sometimes are a bit shady. Not personal experience though.

With your price limit of 600 dollars, spending 400 on subs and 200 on amps might not work since you will need a good amount of power to push the subs. BTW you can get the Perfects off Ebay for about 150, so that's 300 for subs.

Good sub choice though, great SQ and pretty loud. I also loved the fact that it uses a 1 cubic foot sealed enclosure. Liked mine til it got stolen.

Don't forget the box as well, which will cost anywhere from 50 to 150 depending on if you make it.

D class amps are great for power, but their SQ isn't the best.

Dunno what I could recommend for 2 subs especially for 300 dollars. I've only run one sub, but I have a 1700 watt amp to power it with. You can try ESX though, they make amps with lots of juice for a reasonable price.

I personally haven't ordered from Soundhabit.com but there were several that did on a car audio forum that I was a member of. They seemed to like it. Soundhabit is not an authorized dealer of the equipment they sell (at least I think so). This is one of the reasons why their prices are so low. As far as them being shady, I don't think they can be that bad because they're still selling on the internet. If they were a scam, I imagine they'd be banned from the net.
