If your talking about a starter kill for an alarm then yes pretty much.

But the more you make the work the less likely your car will be stolen.
I would add at least
1) Starter kill
2) ignition kill
3) fuel kill

Its not useless because at least you will decrease your chance of it having to be stolen. They would have to still get the ignition to on position THEN push start the car. So yes and no is the answer but its better than nothing. And like the other guys said its much better to add fuel cutoff swtich which is easy. If you dont know how then I can give you some help on that.

i have the fuel cut off switch already just wanted to know if the starter kill that i have setup is gonna help against a potential theft attempt. As you said...they still have to get the ignition to the on position...but then if that is accomplished...then they can push start it...am i correct? With or without the starter kill a theif will still have to get the ignition to the on position? So wat is the use of the starter? Or does my switch have to be activated in order to be push started??
