Hey, I'm installing my speakers in my 1996 si "EX", and there are 2 blue wires... and 2 white wires in my door on the car harness thing.... can I just splice them and join the two blue together and two white together or???

I'd assume that there's two wires leading to your speaker because one set of blue and white wires are running to a tweeter.

They are probably wired in parallel.

That is right, Just do a continuity test on the wires to see which ones are which. Then just don't use the ones for the stock tweets.

 

One set is from HU/amp the other goes to tweeter, [daisy chain] if you want to use the stock tweeter connect them together, like you said, or get the adpt. sp. harness from metra, [72-7800], or if your not using the stock tweeter, you can still use the adpt. sp. harness, [just unplug the tweeter] or cut the plug off and find the set that comes from the HU/amp and use them, [you can use a batt. to "pop" the tweeters] then use the other wires. 94
