Default Sound system use and care

People say if you want your engine to last, you should take care of it. You can do things like, don't rev it to red line, avoid launching burnouts, etc.

Is there something we should know about how the stereo should be use so we don't "wear it out?" Any tips for care and maintance of HU, speakers, amp, sub, etc. What are some of the do's and don't's?

When the temperature goes from extreme's. eg. Real cold through the night, to really hot in the day, or likewise. Give your amp a little while before operating it.

Last winter I blew my amp because condensation had built up on the circuit board during one of these temp changes.
