Soo Much NOISE!!
I have a 92 ferio with pioneer head unit and jl componet speakers and a 10" mtx sub and amp. The other day i go to change out the amp for a bigger one and when i turned the system back on the amped fried. Now i put in the old amp and now theres so much engine noise its unbearable.. I check all the fuses and my grounds. they are all good. I dunno wut to do im a newb with car audio. Any and all help is great...thanks
i read something somewhere about having multiple chassis grounds on a car. like say for instance a major one would be the ground off an amp, and another is the car battery, and when you have too many grounds connected to high voltage/demand things itll cause a circuit to form in the chassis. but im not a stereo guru, i just read that somewhere.

That is true, but only when you have 2 high amp units grounding very close to each other [like within a couple feet]

maybe hook up backward.

Polarity of RCA does not matter. ever. The amp just gets a backward signal, it doesn't know whats right and left, it just does what its told.
double check your ground.
