Does the Sony Cd player harness have a dimmer wire?

Depends. Higher end decks do, lower end decks don't...

Sorry it's the Sony CDX-F7705, there's no orange wire coming out of the harness.tho I did use my old sony harness..

Thanks for the help FCM, But do u know which pin is the "dimmer" on the sony harness. I'm gonna try to plug the wire directly into the harness

it should be on the instructional wire/color diagram in your sony booklet.

Yeah it's gonna defintely be in that booklet... or possibly on the deck itself on the top. I can't remember if Sony's do that or not/what years they did.

Anyways why don't you just use the harness that it came with, if it has an orange wire -- there you go.
