Some advice on install
Recently bought a '98 civic si (Cdn version) with the 6 speaker system package and I'm wondering if anyone has any guides to installing a complete system in this car. I've installed a system before in my old car and now I'm bringing it over to this one.
I have the guide from installdr for the deck, so I'm set thier but I really would like to know the best places for all the wiring in the car.
Thanks

If you are installing an amplifier, make sure to rum power wire down one side of the car to where ever the amp is being install (most likely the trunk). And the RCA cables should be run down the other side. Since the battery is on the right side of the car, I would run the power cable along that side too.
And if for some reason the power cables need to get close to the RCA cables, make sure they cross at a 90 degree angle to reduce the chance of noise entering the system. If they lay side by side, this will increase the chance of engine wine.
Good Luck.
