Default Solex Locks?

So i've been pokin around various car forums, and have come to find that solex locks are quite popular amongst some of the drift croud peoples and was wondering if any one knew anything about installing them on our civics? i looked it up and it appears that solex locks are made for 92-95 civics, but it didn't say anything about 80's civics. does any one know anything about them?

Thanks!

-Ryan

I'm not sure if they would work well due to the fact the lock is in the handle. Corollas and the like have they lock by itself in the door.

step 1) slide licence plate between window and seal above handle
step 2) open door
