Compustar's instructions suck!! I would not try a Compustar as your first alarm. I had been doing alarms for about a year when I tried my first Compustar. Took me all goddamned day.

All Compustar alarms, starters and alarm/starter combo units come with a wiring guide, [for the Compustar] Bulldog has the tag in sheet for your car.

If you have any experience with car wiring and you know how to solder, it's not that big a deal to install.

However as wrx-killer-Sti eater mentions there is no lifetime manufactures warranty. [in fact no manufactures warranty of any kind] if not purchased at an authorized retail dealer... http://www.compustar.com/internet_sales.htm.

IMO it is in your best interest to buy, and have it installed, at an authorized dealer.
