Read the sitckie above....smh. A kill switch will only slow them down and not draw attention to the car. And the theif will have all the time to sit in the car and try to figure it out. A quick release is more for show and unexpected theives. But are easliy bypassed.

Be creative and switch some stuff around to slow down the thief. This includes the battery or battery's, hood latch relocated ect.

quick release steering wheels, if they have one, they can just attach that on. so if you buy a QR, buy a hub lock.

and kill switches are MUCH cheaper, costs less then $20 to make.

but those 2 layers are not enough to stop a thief.
you would need more like a 2-way alarm (with a great, stealthy install) with a back up battery and extra sensors. and

Main relay kill switch. Fuel kill switches, ignition and starter kill are ineffective. Starter and ignition are easily bypassed under the hood. Fuel is easily bypassed by running power directly under the rear seat. Steering lock is easily broken. Missing ECU, fuses, and steering locks are all easily overcome. Threads pop up occasionally about these being defeated.

FCM's main relay kill / main relay relocation is the way to go. I followed suspendedHatch's guide and even put a dummy main relay in place. In addition, I hooked up Ign power and ground so it clicks with the key turn! All the rest of the wires are secured but not connected.
