Hi I got a question for hondaatech. I got an eg hatchback and finially I got my Reverse camera lcd kit. its from ebay bought it like about 35 buxs.
security tft monitor car rear-view system 4.3 screen.
ok right out of the box I hooked it up to the batt tested if it would actually work. it works very good looks very clean and not as blurry or scrolling horizontal lines.
Ok I installed the camera rear my lisence plate frame I mounted it using my lisence plate light bolts I just kinda borred out the mount plastic from on the camera. it works fits good. with a couple of washers.
I ran the yellow RCA driver side panels to the rear. connected the camera ir night vision rca yellow wire. I extended the ir camera power wire with a 20 gauge wire ran through the front same driver side panel.
I ran the ground near the trunk area for the IR camera.
I then hooked up the Monitor power with the extended reverse ir camera power together and tapped a fuse from the back up light fuse box. used 5 amp fuse. I grounded the monitor to the chassis front driver side foot left side.
I insured the connections all soldered heat shirked and looks good.
with key on the camera has scrolling horizontal lines WTF?
when I start the engine it has the same effect.
what is causing this scrolling horizontal line issue. I cant seem to fix it Ive searched online for some answers.
Ground power is all ok?
Is the LCD bad, maybe the yellow RCA wire? or the Camera itself? is the ground causing it?
it was working fine when I benched tested it?
help?? anyone had this issue??

Most likely one of these in no particular order:
1. Your video RCA is run too close to existing power wires
2. You aren't getting enough power to the screen
3. Poor ground connection
I would be putting my money on a power issue. If I read that correct, you connected the power for the monitor and camera to the same source at the fuse box. I would move that to what should be the accessory(yellow) wire or the ignition(black/yellow) wire at the key cylinder or fuse box.
