A fuse blows for a reason, more current is drawn through it then it is rated for, what are you using it for, that needs an 80A fuse, [or bigger by the sounds of it]? 94

Get a ANL fuse holder for your relocated battery.

Haha. A fuse is a fuse, go to Walmart... I hope you're joking. Their fuses don't even "blow". The little connections inside vibrate loose and the fuse still looks good, but works intermittently. I've seen it burn out amps. In fact, don't even buy our crap at Circuit City. Glass tube fuses suck *****. And ball sucking isn't cool, it's just weird.

Your fuse keeps blowing? Oh, that sucks. Hey, just bypass the fuse and watch your car burn to the ground. Or you could replace your power wire, this time installing it correctly utilizing a grommet, some split loom, and lots of zip ties.

Look on ebay for some fuses. You can get there same fuses as you find in stores, and pay like 5x less.

When I was one ebay all I could find are the cheap one that I keep blowing. The previous owner of my car gave me some fuses and they worked just fine until I did something dumb and blew one. Now with these new ones I can do everything correct and the fuse will still blow.

Maybe you should consider fixing the problem instead of looking for "a better quality fuse"...

The reason that the previous brand (which I don't know) blew was my own fault. The ones I have now just blow on there own like they are a cheap brand.

As stated previously, a fuse is a fuse. There's obviously something else going on causing them to blow. Fix the problem first.

OK, let me guess fuse blows when starting car.
There is a reason there is no fuse between batt. and starter, [batt. stock location], What gauge is the cable running from the relocated batt. to the starter motor? 94

I was thinking about making it so that my battery does not have a fuse on it. I will have to check the wire gauge.

What you need is a wafer fuse, [ANL], amperage will depend on cable gauge, EG; if you have a 4ga you can install a 150A fuse, 2ga you can use a 225A fuse, a 1/0ga would handle 350A.
The cable should run from the batt. to the starter motor, then a smaller cable, 8ga can be run from starter motor to the input on the fuse box. 94

Yeah after what you said I will be sure to keep a fuse. Why does the cable from the starter to the fuse box have to be smaller? I will figure out the gauge of the wire go from there.

It does not have to be smaller, it just does not need to be as big, it's the starter that needs all the current. 94

On the wire it says 4awg. Does that mean it is a 4 guage wire?

Yeah I plan on get up to a stereo store this weekend to pick the parts I need.

What are the names of the parts that I need so that when I go to get the parts I know somewhat of what I'm looking for?
