Ok i now that im amplifing my speakers and i already got a sub amplified

is it better that i run 3 set of rca cable trhough the headunit to the sub amp, and front & rear to the speaker amp ?

or i can wire the rear and front speaker to the amp (2 long RCA to the headunit) and then use the output of speaker amp to my sub input RCA (with a 1 foot rca cable or w/e) !?

i got the pinoneer DEH-X8600BH

Buy a quality 2-way crossover. Run one RCA (high/full-range) to the door speaker amp and one RCA (low/sub) to the sub amp. Problem fixed.

im new to the audio scene sry, why would i need a 2 way crossover ? i think my Headunit also has a crossover ...

headunit got 3 pre-amp (4v) output Front, Rear And SUB

can i run 2 RCA from front and rear to speaker amp THEN from the RCA output of the speaker amp to the RCA input of SUB amp ?

RCA outs on an amplifier? Have there been advancements in amplifier technology that they are now manufactured with RCA outputs? The last amp I bought had RCA inputs only and those were from the RCA outputs of the headunit.

Specs say that your headunit has 3 sets of RCA preouts so, without checking, I'm going to assume they are front, rear (or left and right) and sub outputs. If that is correct then don't make it harder than it is.

Front and rear run to a 4 channel amp (or two separate amps from front/rear or left/right) and the sub outputs go to the sub amp.

Next time read up on how to hook these things up before you run out and buy them.

Um, car amps have had RCA outputs for a very long time. They're used for daisy chaining amplifiers. You end up going headunit -> RCA -> amp -> RCA -> amp -> speaker wire -> speaker.

Not all amplifiers have this feature. Just like not all of them can bridge a channel, or include a crossover, etc...

A 4 channel cable, a pair of 2 channel cables and a twist tie, same thing.

If you're really feeling cheap, and aren't pushing excessive power, just use an old component video cable with audio. That's a 5 channel RCA cable that no one knows what to do with these days since HDMI is so much more compact and easier.

Um. I said it's been awhile. And the only ones I ever messed with didn't have them. I can show you a pic of the one in the car now.
