hey guys i've been missing a faceplate for my head unit and i finally got one today. so i plugged and hooked all the wires back up to the HU. it works and all. but...

the reception is bad as hell
the sound cuts off sometimes
it wont play any cd's - it just says error

any simple things i need to check? its a SONY CDX-L550X by the way.

 

the reception is prolly your attena
are you sure your speaker wires are hooked up good.
and if it says error its not your wiring,
id say its time for a new deck

 

damn i bought the car without a faceplate. and i just got a faceplate yesterday for $50. what a waste. thanks
