hey guys,
I am trying to find a unique way i could install my radar detector...
i did a search and in one of the posts someone said that there was an entire thread about cool ideas for placement, i searched for it and couldn't find it. does anyone know where this thread was? or any cool ideas for detector placement?

anywhere that the front and rear arn't blocked, it's pointless to get real creative with a radar detector unless you are using a hideaway like the K40 2000.

Worst detector ever
Has anyone been able to mount their 8500 over the rear view mirror? I keep running into issues with the visors and mirror adjustment. I have it below the mirror right now, but I might just move it back to the center of the windsheild.

I don't know how you could say it's the worst radar detector ever, I've sold quite a few of those and people wouldn't spend over a thousand dollers for a Radar Detector that didn't work, I installed one the other day in an AMG SL55 and the guy came back to tell me how well it worked.
