Quick wiring question...
DVC allows you to run different wiring configurations - the most useful being 2 ohm if your only running 1 sub. assuming your amp can handle the load the 2 ohm wiring will give you more output (make sure your sub can handle the power).
If you bridge your amp in B (except across both channels), and use the dual voice - you'll run 1.3 ohm and your most likely not stable at it (read your manual).
B would also run only ONE of your stereo channels at 2 ohm, you might also need to consult your manual if this is allowed.
soooo i've given no answer
lol sorry (i'm torn too) I would do A, assuming you do not have another sub or rears to use the unused channels on the amp in diagram B - because leaving them open like that is no good either.
I would also think you would have to run the amp in mono, if there is a switch...i've personally never used a stereo amp with a single DVC sub - i'm sure EBP, rcurley or the others will provide a better answer.
Good luck.

that would depend on the configuration of the voice coils. if they're dual 4 ohm then no, dont do that. You'd end up with a 2ohm mono load and likely go into protect mode. A lot of amps arent stable at 2ohms mono. If they're dual 8ohm then do it as you'll have a 4ohm load. configuration A & B are both correct but B gives you the option of adding another sub to the same amp. whatever floats your boat.

if its an 801d, you can wire it either way and get the same results because the amp is bridged internally, its a mono amp=only one channel, the 2 terminals are connected inside the amp.
