Default Quick car alarm problem. Help ASAP please

In need of some quick help here. When my bought my car it only came with one car alarm remote and unfortunately, last month the little corner piece that connects to my key ring broke and I've have just had it in my pocket for the following weeks. Well, this morning I did the laundry with the remote in there and well, the remote just stays on and the car doesn't seem to be picking up a signal from the remote to disarm the alarm. I removed all the water I could and it doesn't seem to be helping. (see pics)

As you can see in the pics, the light stays on all the time. What does it mean if anything.

My question is, what can be done? Is this an expensive fix considering that this is my last car alarm remote? Can any backyard alarm shop do anything to help? How can I get my car to start w/o having the alarm go off? Help ASAP please.

Yes, I know that I am an idiot, but I am just human and I made a mistake.

It is a DEI/Viper alarm so there will be a valet switch/button, find switch, turn ign. on when alarm triggers press and hold valet switch until alarm shuts off, if alarm is in passive arming mode, [arms itself in 30 sec. after ign. turned off] you can use the key and valet switch to put the alarm into valet mode, [off], will need alarm model, [on brain] for valet mode operation.
You can get new remotes from DEI, or a DEI dealer, or on line from places like...
