Questions on 2010 Civic DX (adding keyless entry)
My wife and I just bought a 2010 Civic DX recently. The only downside to the car is that it does not have keyless entry.
Currently, the car does have power windows, but does not have (and has never had) power locks in the doors. In this case, I know that I will have to install the actuators and maybe some kind of brackets for them into each of the car's four doors. The good thing though (from calling around to car audio installers) is that it sounds like all of the electric wiring should already be present in the doors.
Here is the catch, I want to do this myself and as inexpensively as possible.
I was quoted anywhere from $550 - $650 installed and that is about DOUBLE what I would like to spend. An alarm to go with this would be nice but it is definitely not necessary... I am mainly just going after the keyless entry.
If possible, I would GREATLY appreciate if someone could please provide detailed instructions on parts and prices, with installation diagrams, web links, etc.
Thanks so much!

I have yet to see a Honda/Acura run wiring, [other then rear speaker wiring] for options like door locks, that are not installed, but then I have not pulled the door panels of a 2010 Civic DX, and that is where I would start, pull the door panels and see if there are unused wire/plugs in the doors.
If there are the rear doors would have a 2 wire plug, [door lock actuator] the drivers door will have a 3-4 wire plug for actuator, a 2 wire plug for the door lock switch and a 3 wire for the power door lock switch, the front pass. door may just have the 2 wire plug for the actuator, but it may have the same wiring as the drivers door, not sure about the 2010.
These wires/plugs will all go to the "Power Door Lock Control Unit" location.
Pull the drivers kick-panel trim and look for white 18 pin plug, pin 16 will be a green lead, [lock] and pin 12 will be a gray lead, [unlock] from power door lock switch, [plug] in drivers door, if they are there it is a good chance the rest of the wiring, in the doors] is there, but may only run the the "A" and "B" pillar plugs, chassis side.
If the wiring is there you will be able to use it, [2 wires for actuator] all you need to do is find the PDLCU location of the wiring. 94
