Default Question on OEM Integra Deck

Will the OEM '01 GSR acura cd player deck fit a '00 civic ex? Physically, i'm sure it will fit. My only concern is the harness. Do i need any sort of modification? Or will it snap in no prob? Thanks.

I am almost positive that it will. Call your local audio shop and ask if the harness' are the same for them. if they are then it will work.

Yes, it should work...............right now I am using an Acura CL harness in an integra...........I think all Acura/Honda harnesses should work........worst that can happen is you open things up and find out it doesn't...........go to the store, and spend the $15 and then you are set............worth the risk to me....

nope it is not the same. all 94-01 integras use old 1994 harness all the way through. civics however, are weird. the 96-98 use the same harness as the integra, but in 1999, they changed the harness to the newer one. i dont know y the integra didnt change, at least out here in Los Angeles it didnt. have u guys ever noticed that some integra seats are different? like there are more stitched lines across the seat. well actually, vtegs seats were different from my seats, i dunno. its just weird. some seats are different than others, i dont know y.
