Power locks - driver door lock get stuck once in a while...

Default Power locks - driver door lock get stuck once in a while...

this is on 98 crv. at times, when pressing to unlock, driver side lock won't pop up all the way at times on the first try, after pressing again to unlock it will work. what could this be? and what can i do to fix it?

Take the door panel off & clean the bushings where the lock rod goes through, and the pivot that goes between the actuator & the lock nub that sticks out of the top of the door.

Apply 3in1 oil or lithium grease until it gums up again. I have a '98 Civic with a similar problem, and to my knowledge, there's really no permanent fix.

The problem is caused by dirt & grime "gumming up the works".

Or you have a bad motor and it needs to be replaced. 94
