oem stereo + cd changer?
If you get an aftermarket cd changer it must have an fm modulator(spelling?) in order for it to work with the OEM h/u. or you can look for an OEM cd changer and it will work hand and hand with the OEM h/u
typically for a honda headunit you can connect an afternarket changer to it and operate off the factory controls using a third party interface or changer adaptor. there is always a cable available for alpine.

If you have an older honda (90-98 differs from model to model) you can hook up an Alpine M-bus changer to it directly without any special cables. The rear of your stock head unit will have a round opening in which you can insert the Alpine M-bus cable and use your existing head unit to control the cd changer. Or you can buy any aftermarket cd changer that uses an fm modulator. This fm modulator won't sound too good since it's going through the fm radio stations, sound quality will suffer.
