yea i saw it on google for that much a while ago. i was just thinking about it if i got one at a local MTX dealer. of course i wouldnt actually get one but iv been interested to see how much it would be retail. $7,000 for a sub is ridiculous, especially with the cost of amps u will need to run it

I can get you one for $9,999.00 + PST and GST, CDN.
The question is why, you do know this is a 6000W continuous (RMS) sub and needs two of MTXs biggest amps, [TA92001] to drive it properly, the sealed box is 6 cuft and vented box is 11 cuft, the sub itself weighs as much as a Chevy V8 short block (370lbs) add that to the weight of a 6 cuft 1" MDF box with bracing.
Unless you have a Ridgeline where would you put it?

I saw two of these installed in a truck on the tv show "trucks".
The price is just about as silly as the speaker.

Other then to get the speaker manufacturer some attention whats the purpose of this speaker?

I agree it is silly, but when amped properly it makes a lot-o-bass, in fact stupid amounts of sub bass, and if you have a Greyhound bus it may make sense to install one. 94

I can have one to your door for $2900 members only, shush. But shipping is a bitch. I installed one in a tahoe. I used mtx factory enclosure with it. Now for all this to work, two of mtx biggest amps were used, two extra batteries, two aftermarket alternators, And I can not forget the high quality tsunami 0 guage wire. I used the spl cone. Output was mad crazy. I did not have a meter at the time so I don't know the final numbers. But I'll say that it broke the back hatch. Price is to steep for the avarage guy. Over 13k just to do it right. I'll stick to the 5500-the 9500's for me.
