MP3 Player on cellphone
Hi guys,
My wife and I both got new phones that have MP3 players on them. The phones are LG VX8600. Could someone please help me find a cable that will allow the use of the MP3 player to be played in the car via the AUX input.
The car is a Stock 06 Civic 4DR EX non-navi.
Thanks ahead of time.

I did it with my Alpine CDM-86something in my old car. There was a CD-changer input cable that you could buy an adapter to put a 3.5mm stereo plug on the other end, then I bought a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter (to fit the headset port on a cell phone) and connected it to my smartphone. Internet radio in the car FTW!

You do know that your LG VX8600 supports stereo bluetooth... if you want to go wireless.
It's a more expensive option.
However, I recommend wired connections for most audio applications.

Actually in this case if the stereo supports bluetooth I would go with the digital bluetooth connection over an analog signal.

use a 1/8 male to 1/8 mail cable. you might need an adaptor though to convert from the phone's headphone jack which may be a different size. I am not sure about the phone's specifications. Make a trip up to radio shack, they should be able to help you put something together.

Correction. They won't be able to help you with jack ****. None of the Radio Shacks I've been to know anything. Like John666 said just walk in and ask for the 3.5mm double male cable.
